Western's women's basketball team earned several regular season honors from the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) this week.

Several Western Technical College student athletes have eanred all-academic honors with the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) for the 2018-19 year.

The following local residents were named to the Western Technical College President's List of High Distinction for the Fall 2018 term. To be included on the President's List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and carry 12 or more credits in an associate's degree or technical diploma program.

Western Technical College is pleased to announce the names of the 2017-18 graduates. Of the graduates, 635 will receive associate's degrees and 797 will receive technical diplomas. In addition, students from 32 cerficate progrmaas completed their studies during the 2017-18 academic year.

Six students from Western Technical College were recipients of the President's Writing Award this year.

Three students from Western's Respiratory Therapist program won a quiz bowl competition at the North Regional Respiratory Care Conference (NRRCC) last month in Rochester, Minn.

Western Technical College's Collegiate Distributive Education Club of America (DECA) chapter sent eight competitors to the Wisconsin State Career Leadership Conference held recently in Delevan, Wis.

Western student,James Woychik, ABC Electrician program student, who competed in the ABC Skills statewide electrical apprenticeship competition! He placed in the top four on the written exam portion and received some tools as his prize.

Upper Iowa University is pleased to announce the names of its August 2016 graduates, followed by the degree earned and respective honors.

Upper Iowa University announces the Dean's List for the 2016 Summer Term. To be honored, a student must have earned a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student.

Western Technical College Women's and Men's Basketball players, Terra Stuttley of Onalaska, Wis. and Sam Murphy of Royall, Va., have received recognition from the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Southern Division.

Western Technical College sent three students to the State Capitol on Tuesday, Feb. 16 as a part of a system-wide showcase of service learning and other projects. More than 60 students representing all 16 Wisconsin technical colleges are participating in the event.
